Background and Credentials

Dr. Rhinelle Hirose is a locally born and raised from the Windward side of Oahu. Dr. Hirose overcame the adversities of growing up in a single parent household where the threat of poverty was a real danger. With the love and support of her family and friends, Dr. Hirose worked multiple jobs while putting herself through her collegiate education. During this time, Dr. Hirose worked as an orthodontic dental assistant in Pearl City, where her love of dentistry was fostered and grown.

Dr. Hirose’s higher education journey was anything but traditional. First attending Leeward Community College (LCC), Dr. Hirose earned her Associate's degree during her first year at community college. Based on her grades and school performance at LCC, Dr. Hirose was granted a National Honor Society Scholarship to attend Hawaii Pacific University (HPU). While at HPU, Dr. Hirose quickly advanced to the top of her graduating class while completing her undergraduate studies in Biology. Upon graduation with her Bachelors of Science, Dr. Hirose was accepted to the Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU), School of Dentistry where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) designation.

Dr. Hirose returned to Hawaii after graduating from OHSU to serve her local community. She has over 22 years of experience in the field of dentistry, with more than 13+ spent as a practicing Dentist in the State of Hawaii. Dr. Hirose strives to ensure your dental experience is as comfortable and informative as possible. She hopes to help you and your ohana achieve a smile you can be proud of that will last you forever.
